A CSR Professional's Journey
The Co-Founder of U-Turn4Nature spent over 15 years working in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with leading organizations such as Samsung, Honda, and LG.
During this journey, he worked closely with Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and grassroots communities across India. This exposure gave him a deep appreciation for the:
✔ Skills of rural women
✔ Entrepreneurial spirit of communities
✔ Power of traditional knowledge
❤️ A Personal Health Wake-Up Call
Like many professionals living a fast-paced lifestyle, he began facing health challenges.
During a routine medical consultation, he was advised to:
❌ Reduce Consumption of:
- Highly processed foods
- Refined ingredients
- Artificial additives
Determined to improve his health, he started searching for foods that were free from Maida,Palm Oil,Refined Oil,White Sugar, Chemical Preservatives.
🌾 The Unexpected Discovery
During this search, he realized that he was already working with several rural women SHGs. These women were producing traditional homemade foods using natural ingredients and time-tested methods. Impressed by the quality and authenticity of their products, he began purchasing them for his own consumption.
🌟 A Transformation He Never Expected
What happened next was completely unplanned.
Over the following six months, several health parameters that had previously shown warning signs gradually moved toward normal levels. Friends and guests visiting his home also started asking: "Where can we get these products?" Soon, they too began purchasing the same homemade foods. While this was never part of a formal health experiment, it reinforced a powerful belief:
Traditional homemade food still has immense value in modern life.

This experience sparked a profound realization. If these products could make a positive difference in one family, they could benefit millions of families across India. At the same time, he noticed another challenge: Although rural women were producing exceptional products, they had very limited access to larger markets.
